FERPA INFORMATION

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
(20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a federal law that
protects the privacy of students' educational records. The
law applies to all schools that receive funds under an
applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.
Students have specific, protected rights regarding the
release of such records, and FERPA requires that
institutions adhere strictly to these guidelines.
The purpose of this Web site is to serve as an educational
tool for the faculty and staff of Hebrew College and
University Central of Ashdod. As employees of the
university community, we need to work together to ensure
that the rights of our students are not violated and that we
remain in compliance with federal law. If at anytime you feel
that this Web site has not fully answered questions you
have about FERPA, please contact The Office of the
University Registrar: registrar@ucea.edu.pa.
