Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) at the School Judaic Studies. Our comprehensive program stands on four pillars: instruction, curriculum design and development, administration, and Jewish literacy. By integrating the studies of pedagogy and management with field internships, you will be prepared to innovate best practices and be a leader in the Jewish community. You will benefit from coursework in teaching skills, curriculum, sociology, educational psychology, Jewish texts, Jewish law and ethics, and Hebrew. You will participate in paid, supervised teaching and administrative internships at Jewish educational institutions in Israel and United States. In colloquium each week, you will learn from current practitioners and gain exposure to special topics in Judaism and education. As a full-time student, you can complete the program in five consecutive semesters, with an intervening summer session. Upon graduation, you will be are awarded a Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) concurrently with a Bachelor of Literature in Hebrew Letters (B.Lit.).
